News
On Sunday, April 27th, US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detained 114 immigrants in Colorado Springs. On X, Attorney General Pam Bondi admitted that ICE only had warrants for 2 of the people whom they arrested.
Those detained were placed on buses for ‘processing,’ which may result in either deportation or rendition to CECOT (the Salvadoran prison which the Human Rights Watch has called out for numerous rights abuses). Notably, the Trump administration has referred to rendition to CECOT as ‘deportation’ multiple times, and has claimed that those arrested will likely be deported as well.
